Layton Castle is a home, an historic North Louisiana landmark, a small apartment complex, and an event venue. These 3 unique suites are available to families, travelers and explorers: The Carriage House (2 bedroom/2 bath) a perfect gathering place, the Garden Tower Suite (1 bdrm/1 bath), and our huge, historic, Lost Generation Suite (1 bdrm/1 bath). Comfortably hosts 8 people & can add additional people via sleeper sofas, daybeds and air mattresses - up to 15.

Layton Castle sits on the Ouachita River, conveniently located just south of Downtown Monroe in the Historic Bry District in Museum Row (The Masur Museum, The Cooley House, Layton Castle, and the Children's Museum) - near stellar restaurants, just across the river from Antique Alley, and close to St Francis Hospital, Oschner's LSU Hospital and Ouachita Parish Courthouse. It's a mixed neighborhood of beautifully renovated buildings and homes in need of rescuing. It is also close to the I-20 exit.
